Preorders
We are currently taking preorders for another run of LOSS! in Space. This is the first time it's been available online across the world. Please read the text below before filling out the form to understand what this preorder entails.
This game is for 1-4 players, ages 8 and up, and takes approximately 15 - 45 minutes to play.
A full copy of the game is $50 CDN. I do want to say upfront that you can download every piece of this game, other than the dice, for FREE from this site but only at 200 DPI (2/3 print quality). While you can essentially print the entire game for under $10 using the free files, you'd be printing it on regular paper, and gluing/taping the box art to a box that you make at a lower resolution than what this print run would be offering. If you wanted to match the materials used in this print run, it would cost roughly $65-$70 for one copy depending on where you get it printed. This print run will include (SEE PHOTOS):
- 180 Game Cards printed on glossy 100lb cardstock (printed at 300 DPI) including 4 additional base ships!
- 12 game tokens printed on glossy 100lb cardstock (printed at 300 DPI)
- Rulebook printed on high quality laser stock (printed at 300 DPI)
- 5 high quality dice in five colours (colours may be different than those pictured)
- Handmade box made out of 0.05" - 0.1" thick chipboard pad, with a high-quality label (printed at 300 DPI)
Please note that while this is a high quality print, it will still be prototype quality; it won't be the same quality you'd get if you bought a game in a store. So while there still might be some printing/cutting issues with any copy of the game, I've done as much as I can to ensure the highest possible quality for each game. So whether you want a higher quality version of the game than what you have, you don't want to cut/punch/assemble everything involved, or just want to support us, feel free to reply to me saying how many copies you'd like. I'll be submitting the print order March 15th, giving us time to have everything printed, assembled, and in your hands before summer, depending on where you're located. Please don't feel pressured to buy a copy, this is just for people who would like one, as I'm going ahead with the print run either way.
